James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2011
Berrys Creek Vineyard Gippsland Noble Riesling 2008
Interesting; extensive botrytis left the wine with over 100 g/l of
residual sugar and 12% alcohol, yet the riesling varietal fruit is
clear-cut, and the sweetness less than the analysis suggests. May well
improve radically in bottle. Screwcap.

Tiny production, first release, impressive result. Candied citrus, ripe peach and apricot flavours are balanced by honeyed complexity and attractive minerality. An appealing style for drinking in its youth.
