Grown by us on our historic and iconic Lance's Vineyard, established 1976, one of the oldest vineyards in the Nillumbik subregion of the Yarra Valley. Time has shown this vineyard to consistently be one of Australia's most distinguished sites.
“Estate grown from vines planted '76, '98 and '03, wild yeast-fermented and neither fined nor filtered. Very light coloured, it has unexpected juicy red cherry and strawberry flavours that take centre stage of the palate and on to the finish. 92 Points” Halliday Wine Companion
Grown predominantly on our original 1976 vines, together with adjoining 1998 and 2003 plantings, all with a steep Northerly aspect. These vines are hand pruned, dressed and harvested.
Made without added yeast, fining or filtration, this wine is estate bottled, with a limited production.
Vegan friendly.
These wines, being unfiltered, may have developed a slight deposit in the bottle, so settling and careful pouring/decanting is recommended.
